Before adding recipes, you will need to make sure you have first added some ingredients.

Each recipe has:

Name
Vanilla Sponge Cake for example. If you have more than one variation of a recipe then feel free to append this to the name, like so: Vanilla Sponge Cake (10” Large)
Preparation Time
Amount of time it takes for preparation for your recipe in hours and minutes. This contributes to the overall recipe time which is used for cost estimations in your orders
Cooking Time
Amount of time it takes to cook your recipe in hours and minutes. This contributes to the overall recipe time which is used for cost estimations in your orders
Servings
How many servings your recipe makes
Description
Describes your recipe which is useful to remind yourself what the recipe is for and also helps to find it later
Method
Step by step guide on how to prepare and cook your recipe
Ingredients
Select ingredients you’ve already added in the ingredients section. These are entered in the required quantity for your recipe. Flour 250g for instance
  • Ingredient
    Select the ingredient from the drop down list. For example, Flour
  • Amount
    Enter the amount needed in your recipe. For example 250
  • Measure
    Choose the ingredient measure unit. For example grams
Adding Recipes on Pantry

Only the Name and Ingredients fields are required to add a recipe. If you want to be able to cost calculate recipes and orders then it is recommended that you also add the Preparation and Cooking times.

The Description and Method fields are helpful to have but are completely optional and do not affect any cost calculations.
